Investing with myFutureFund

When you save for a child in myFutureFund savings go into a FutureFund Account and are invested.  This operates like a bank account, but has a wider range of investment choices and receives the investment earnings.  The FutureFundGuardian chooses how the account is invested.

With myFutureFund you can choose from our full range of SuperLife investment options; from the safety of cash to the risk of shares, or somewhere in between. SuperLife has a range of standard risk/return options as well as single sector options that let you create your own investment mix.

The default investment option is AIMFutureFund.  This is the option that applies if the FutureFundGuardian does not advise the Trustee how they want the Account invested.  Under this option, the Trustee allocates your savings between cash, bonds, property and shares as follows:

"Normal"

Range

Cash/bonds 100% 0-100%
Property/shares 0% 0-35%

The investment returns credited to the savings in the FutureFund Account depend on the investment options the FutureFundGuardian chooses.  The returns will vary with the movement in the investment markets relevant to the strategy chosen.

You can change the investment option for your FutureFund Account at any time.  We do not charge fees for changing your strategy. See the SuperLife investment options and SuperLife investment guide for more details.
